The factory intake is very limiting, as the engine must draw in air through the 90 degree curved intake pipe, restrictive air box and paper panel filter. The intake is designed in such a way in order to limit noise but unfortunately lowers the volumetric efficiency of the motor. There is:
The circular LF1 and LLT MAF cartridges will simply slot into the adapter included with the OTR which is pictured below. This adapter relocates the MAF between the throttle body and the OTR. This adapter will NOT suit later model LFX and LFW equipped commodores so please choose carefully (OTR to suit these motors are featured in another ad). If unsure, feel free to contact us. *THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE MANIFOLD INSULATORS, PLEASE VIEW OUR OTHER LISTINGS FOR V6 OTR PACKAGES THAT INCLUDE MANIFOLD INSULATORS.* To ensure successful fitment, the MAF loom will require extending and our manifold insulators will also need to be installed to allow the throttle body to line up with the intake. This is somewhat of a tedious install and unless confident we recommend having it fitted at a professional workshop. Please contact us, if you require fitment instruction. Please note :
Intake must be used with the factory MAF cartridge and our Manifold Insulators for perfect fitment. 2013 Kia Carens price & specification. Costs from £17,895.
Thu, 25 Apr 2013That’s a subjective call, but the new Carens is a decent looking effort from Kia at a sensible price point with decent equipment levels and offers plenty of family lugging abilities in to the bargain. All Carens models in the UK come with 7 seats and yet is 20mm shorter than the old Carens, But thanks to an extra 50mm in the wheelbase Kia reckons it offers all the space if bigger rivals and, with a flexible configuration for the seating, means the new Carens can accommodate the needs of a mix of load and people carrying with alacrity. The new Carens comes in three trim levels – catchily named 1, 2 and 3 – with 7 seats, cornering lights LED running lights, electric heated door mirrors, AirCon, electric windows, Cruise, Radio/CD with iPod connectivity and Bluetooth and a rear conversation mirror.

Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk said in an interview with the Financial Times that the autonomous driving technology would act like “an autopilot” that could be switched on and off like an aeroplane’s guidance system. On Bing: see pictures of autonomous cars Find out how much a used Tesla costs on Auto Trader However, while Musk claimed that 90% of distances driven today would be able to be completed autonomously in three years’ time, he also admitted that fully self-driving vehicles may be a “bridge too far” in the near future.
